Expert’s Tour

Join us for a tour with a twist at the Tel Aviv-Yafo City Museum!
The upcoming tour explores participatory processes and the museum as part of the educational and municipal ecosystems. It treats you to a behind-the-scenes peek at the stories, insights, and ideas that shaped the design and experience of the museum, plus a collaborative weaving experience on the third floor. 

Who will guide you?
•    Hadas Zemer Ben-Ari: Creator of the museum's content and experience program, connecting visitors to Tel Aviv-Yafo’s diverse cityscape.  
•    Noa Zandbank: Director of Education at the museum, letting you into the museum's role in the educational ecosystem.
•    Shir Melech: Textile designer and Shenkar graduate who crafted the installation City Ties, inviting visitors to weave their personal connections to Tel Aviv-Yafo.  

What’s in the program? 
•    A journey in reverse: How was the museum molded into the exhibition you see today?
•    Introduction to City Ties and a personal weaving experience. 
•    Pedagogy of participation: Educational opportunities offered by the museum to schools in the city.
