Workshops in Culture Critique with Orna Coussin

Over the next three weeks, we will learn to use cultural critique tools to address seemingly straightforward questions about our capacity to lead a life of freedom and solidarity in our city. We will explore the factors that promote preserving these seemingly conflicting values and those that undermine them.

We will be reading and writing to enhance our comprehension of the city.

Orna Coussin is a writer, critic and writing workshop guide. She is the author of Walking Distance—An Essay on Culture and Consumerism (Babbel, 2004; Hebrew), which examines Tel Aviv's urban culture through the eyes of those who wander the city.
