Storytelling Performance in a City at War
Hosted by Maya Kosover
Musical accompaniment by Maya Belsitzman on cello

Over the past year, everything has changed— the country, the city, and us.

We frequently find ourselves lost for words when faced with this turbulent reality.
Out of this lack of words, certainty, and hope—we sought to create a space in the museum that facilitates sharing and listening.

During a month of story hunting, we held workshops inside and outside the museum led by Maya Kosover to collect stories about ourselves and the city over the past year.

Maya is a story gatherer with a unique voice in the art world and a pioneer in the Israeli podcast scene.

The collection of stories has been crafted into a one-time stage event directed by Kosover with musical accompaniment by Maya Belsitzman.

Why are we doing this?
To create an opportunity to be together, listen to stories, mark a year of conflict, and create a space to address wartime challenges through music and storytelling.
Collaborative performance.
