Head of Education Department
The Tel Aviv–Yafo City Museum is seeking a Head of Education to lead the museum's education, public engagement, and audience development activities.

Position Overview:
Lead, manage, and develop the museum's Education Department by implementing the museum's educational vision, managing a professional team, expanding educational programming, and fostering strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead educational programs, workshops, events, and interpretive content aligned with the museum's vision.
* Manage, mentor, and support the Education Department team, including the Education Coordinator, museum educators, and Reservations Coordinator.
* Initiate and lead partnerships with the Ministry of Education, the Tel Aviv–
Yafo Municipality, academic institutions, cultural organizations, and community partners.
* Lead initiatives to expand and diversify audiences in collaboration with the Marketing and Community Engagement departments.
* Promote educational innovation and develop digital and experiential learning tools.
* Prepare annual work plans, manage departmental budgets, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of objectives.
* Represent the museum in professional forums and in meetings with partners, donors, and official guests.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Museum Studies, Humanities, Social Sciences, Art History, or a related field – required.
* At least three years of proven experience managing teams in education, culture, or museums – required.
* Experience in developing and training educational teams.
* Experience building partnerships and collaborating with educational, public, or community organizations.
* Experience working collaboratively with marketing, community engagement, or external relations teams.
* Strong leadership, initiative, strategic thinking, and excellent execution skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
* Fluency in Hebrew is required. English and additional languages are an advantage.

Customer Service and Visitor Experience Representative
The City Museum in the newly revitalized Bialik Square is expanding its customer service and visitor experience team and is looking for people who love people, culture, and Tel Aviv-Yafo.
The Purpose of the Role:
To serve as the face of the museum, providing warm, welcoming service to the public and helping promote participation in museum activities and events.
Responsibilities
* Welcoming visitors and providing in-person, telephone, and digital service.
* Operating the reception desk, box office, and museum shop in accordance with procedures.
* Working with the ticketing system to build customer databases.
* Conducting follow-up outreach to customers, groups, and organizations after the distribution of information, offers, or catalogs.
Required Skills:
* Strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication.
* Ability to work in a multitasking environment.
* Organization, accuracy, and the ability to track processes.
* Initiative, responsibility, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in basic computer applications.
Fluent Hebrew required; English and additional languages an advantage.

Operator / Shift Manager
Position scope: Shift work including weekends (Saturdays)
Job description:
1. Opening the museum and managing teams responsible for cleaning, security, and ticketing.
2. Overseeing visitor flow and proper functioning of exhibitions during the shift, operating systems.
3. Preparing museum spaces for events and exhibitions (lectures, workshops, rooftop screenings, etc.).
4. Working with museum staff and providing real-time technical support.
5. Logistical support and safety supervision, including assistance in emergencies.
Required skills:
1. Technological orientation, ability to learn computerized systems.
2. Previous experience in event management and/or productions.
3. Good interpersonal skills, availability, and flexibility.
4. Willingness to perform physical work.
Employer: Self-employed – invoicing
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Salary: 60 NIS per hour / 90 NIS on Saturdays
