An interactive tour at the Museum of the City, designed for children with neurological diversity or sensory regulation challenges, accompanied by a sensory backpack — a colorful bag full of surprises and guiding tools to enhance the experience. The backpack includes various items that support sensory regulation, provide calm, and spark curiosity and engagement throughout the museum visit. During the tour, each participant receives a personal backpack. Among the items inside are noise-reducing headphones, a stress-relief squeeze ball, and a sock puppet of “Fast Horse,” inspired by the legendary mare of Tel Aviv’s first mayor, Meir Dizengoff.
Visitors may also explore the museum independently and request a sensory backpack at the reception desk.
