What’s on the program?
Part One: Meetings in small groups
Participants will choose from three groups comprising intimate encounters with Amia Lieblich, Yael Tal, and Orna Donath.
• Urban Body: Writing and discussion group with Amia Lieblich on the body and aging in urban space, which includes writing a short story about a meaningful encounter
Amia Lieblich researches psychology and Israeli society. She has spent years collecting life stories, writing about them, and learning about the lives of individuals and communities through these stories.

• My Sister: Writing workshop on sisterhood with Yael Tal
Writing is like a sister—touching, funny, and revealing. In this workshop, we will write about family, sisterhood, and Tel Aviv-Yafo Yael Tal is a theater creator, director, and playwright (NessZiona-The Musical, Boom! Hit’ahavti, Basic Instinct), facilitator for writing workshops, and artistic mentor searching for what brings the stage to life.

• Where is My Home? A guided discussion with Orna Donath about non-motherhood and motherhood in Tel Aviv-Yafo
What is a home, what does belonging mean for women who are mothers and non-mothers, loneliness, self-imposed solitude, and what is present and lacking in Tel Aviv-Yafo?
Dr. Orna Donath is a sociologist, lecturer, and social activist who has researched non-motherhood and regrets about motherhood for over 20 years.

Part Two—Group Discussion
Group discussion on the connections between creativity, non-motherhood, body image in urban space, and how an empowerment-based citywide support network can be created.
Facilitated by Maya Buenos in collaboration with Amia Lieblich, Orna Donath, and Yael Tal.
