The Tel Aviv-Yafo City Museum is excited to participate for the first time in International Museum Day, on Thursday, May 9th, 2024. This year's theme, "Museums for Education and Research," highlights the role of museums in providing a holistic and sustainable educational experience.

Open to the Public for Free
On this day, the museum offers free entry, inviting you to explore Tel Aviv-Yafo's compelling stories. Visit the permanent exhibition focusing on key events that shaped the city. Explore the annual art exhibition "Craft and Leisure," which presents the city through the eyes of 27 local artists, groups, and family businesses. And don't miss the City Stories Collection, updated daily, featuring over 600 stories of people living, working, creating, and visiting the city.

Guided Tours of the Renewed City Museum:
Throughout the day, 4 guided tours will lead you through various stops in the museum, housed in the historic city hall building at Bialik Square. The tours provide insights into the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo through personal, historical, and cultural perspectives.
Each tour lasts about an hour, after which you can continue exploring the museum independently.
