Novygod at the City Museum

Let’s celebrate “Novigod” (The New Year) at the Tel Aviv–Yafo City Museum together!
For the holiday eve, the museum will transform into a magical winter world with installations, performances, and characters inspired by fairy tales and nostalgia, alongside creative workshops, a photo zones, and other festive surprises.

This is a “pre-party” event for the whole family – an opportunity to enjoy a special holiday atmosphere, learn about New Year’s traditions and cultural codes of the Russian-speaking community, and discover how they are reinterpreted in the heart of Tel Aviv–Yafo.

From 19:00 there will be live performances by music bands Ta Strana and Ice Hokku, featuring folk songs in various languages and original tracks that will bring us into the holiday spirit.

The event is organized by the artist community KakdelArt, with the support of the Administration of Absorption and Immigration and the Tel Aviv–Yafo City Museum.

Приглашаем отпраздновать Новый год в Музее города Тель-Авива–Яффо!
Музей превратится в волшебный зимний мир с инсталляциями, перфомансами и персонажами из сказок и ностальгии, а также с творческими мастер-классами, фотозоной и другими праздничными сюрпризами. Это «pre-party» для всей семьи – возможность погрузиться в новогоднюю атмосферу, вспомнить традиции Нового года и культурные коды русскоязычного сообщества и увидеть, как они получают новое прочтение в самом сердце Тель-Авива–Яффо.

С 19:00 на сцену поднимутся группы Ta Strana и Ice Hokku с фольклорными песнями на разных языках и оригинальными треками, новыми и неожиданными – и знакомыми и любимыми.
Мероприятие организовано сообществом деятелей искусства KakdelArt при поддержке Муниципального управления алии и абсорбции и Музея города Тель-Авива–Яффо.
