Proud in Tel Aviv-Yafo

A specially created Pride tour by two municipal institutions – the Tel Aviv-Yafo City Museum and the LGBTQ+ Center that explores the city’s pivotal role in shaping the LGBTQ+ struggle in Israel. 

The tour begins at the museum with a historical overview of the local LGBTQ+ movement told through stories taken from its archives and collections. It continues with a short walk through Meir Park – the site of the city's first Pride Parade in 1996 – and ends with a guided visit at the LGBTQ+ Center, highlighting past activities, current initiatives, and future plans.
