Tour and Workshop Tracing the History of Tel Aviv's Adloyada
How did people celebrate Purim in Tel Aviv-Yafo back in the day? Who was Queen Esther in the city's first Adloyada (Purim parade)? And what was Mayor Meir Dizengoff’s annual costume?

The City Museum invites you to a specially created tour exploring the city's past Purim celebration–from the first Adloyada in 1912 to the present.
The tour will introduce you to rare historical paraphernalia, such as Queen Esther’s original crown and the saddle Meir Dizengoff used during Purim Parades.
After the tour, we will hold a practical workshop in which participants will create costumes inspired by historical events associated with the festival.
