Just because of the Wind

To mark Pride Month in the city, we'll set out on a colorful tour of the City Museum, followed by a workshop to make parade decorations – as the parade returns this year to its original route along Shlomo Lahat Promenade, concluding at Charles Clore Park, and celebrates 28 years since its founding.
During the tour, we will move between stations at the City Museum, exploring key values that characterize Tel Aviv-Yafo – equality, pluralism, and solidarity. We will visit the Museum's community story collection, which contains over a thousand personal stories of people who have lived in and visited the city over the years, view works of art and discuss protests and demonstrations.
After the tour, we will hold a creative workshop in which you can choose from five different types of wind-borne decorations (flags and mini-flags, ribbons and pompoms) to carry with you in the Pride Parade! During the workshop, we will invite you to think together about the family values that accompany you in your daily lives and to represent them through decorations you create in a full rainbow of colors.
