01/05/24 - 05/06/24
In the city that never rests, every street and corner tells a story; if you know how to look, you will discover a work of art at every turn.
Experience Tel Aviv-Jaffa from an extraordinary and captivating perspective in the " Hunters Gatherers" course, led by Ilanit Shemia, an artist and journalist graduated from Bezalel and writer for the "Machshavot" section in Haaretz newspaper.
Held in and around Bialik Square, the course includes six meetings, each two and a half hours long, where we will learn to investigate, record, and articulate the urban splendor around us through words and images. Throughout these gatherings, we will roam the vicinity of Bialik Square, capturing intriguing moments, and exploring diverse methods to tell the stories of the city and depict them in previously unconsidered ways.
The course consists of 6 meetings: Wednesdays, May 1, May 8, May 15, May 22, May 29, and June 5, between 18:00-20:30.
Ideal for anyone eager to broaden their understanding and hone their creative abilities, no previous experience required. Whether you are from Tel Aviv-Jaffa looking to view the city through a fresh lens, or if you are simply a lover of urban culture and artistic expression, this course is tailored for you.
* Each session lasts two and a half hours | Limited availability | Selected sessions will be recorded and shared on the museum’s social media platforms.
