Opening events

A festive weekend of live art performances I Free Admission 

Varies of outrageous and rare reactions that will resonate with the museum's story collections, permanent displays and changing exhibitions. An opportunity to meet, listen, protest and experience civic, participatory art that unfolds in the various parts of the museum and in Bialik Square.

 

Thursday and Saturday starting at 19:00

· A civilian fashion parade by designer David Weksler, which reframes the current collective and singular experience

· Lifeguard station - an interactive installation in collaboration with the city lifeguards and the Beaches Division

· A performance by Choir 106 - a collection of cries and claims from the municipal referral center composed by Alon Adar, Rona Keenan, Mia Landesman, Or Rimer and Maya Donitz.

· A relational performance of mapping falling in love and heartbreak in the city

· Resistance Cafe - a space of sharing knowledge with activists and protest leaders from Tel Aviv-Yafo

· Personal meetings with the museum artists who will accompany the audience on a stroll behind the scenes of their works

 

Friday, starting at 10:00, exposure events behind the scenes of the museum - Admission is FREE but advanced registration is required

Curation discussion with the main curators who established the museum about the construction mechanisms of the establishment of the Tel-Aviv Jaffa City Museum - for digital card holders, to register >>

· Behind the scenes of the city museum - the guides of the museum will take you on a tour which is also a meeting where you will deepen your acquaintance with the many stories of this city, its history, and its essence, and also a little behind the scenes about the establishment of the museum.
