Tomer Fuchs | Working Man, 2026
Photography and video editing
A male figure moves through construction sites, traversing transitional zones and pausing momentarily before structures in progress. The urban space responds to him as part of an ongoing operational mechanism, in which one action is absorbed by the next. The figure is defined by a presumed personal backstory and a fixed role, but also by action within a changing urban system. The work is structured as a loop in which scenes open and close without resolution, in a cumulative sequence that evokes a sense of continuous time. Within the repetition, a subtle accumulation of movement emerges, wherein the relationship between action and result gradually loosens—while the urban space transforms into a system in which movement, image, and the individual are intertwined as a mechanism of continuous becoming.
